I've certainly learned a lot from this thread. Although I've received criticism, I am glad I posted it.
I've learned:
* It is nice to see people learned about the Columbus 500 because of the CU post. I love the idea of the commemorative reenactment via bicycles and/or joining the DooDah parade
* The definition of 'flop' varies greatly. In my original post, it was defined as negative net income. When someone said they thought WaterFire was a 'flop' I was surprised! I love that event and want to see it expand with fire performers, etc.
Or like this lady today writing to the paper to say the bike storage is a waste of money. For me, I think it is one of the best developments lately!
So, the Casino to others may be like my WaterFire and Bike Storage - essentials.
What I am most interested in, is seeing how the City (meaning all of us) will work together to address varying interests and needs, so we can move forward together.
