More Info: In 1988, it was announced before Congress that May 7th would be National Homebrew Day. In recognition of this event, the American Homebrew Association created The Big Brew which is held the first Saturday of May every year.
The idea was to get as many people as possible around the world making homebrew on the same day.
In honor of this day, Columbus Brewing Company will be hosting a group brew in the brewery parking lot. Please join us, May 7th, 2011 to celebrate the second best hobby in the world, the first being drinking beer of course.
Columbus Brewing Company will be providing cooling water, wort, and roasting a pig. We ask that you bring your equipment to brew. All types of brewers are welcome from extract to triple decoction.
We are anticipating a large group of brewers and recognize that cooling wort can be a problem. We will have a number of chilling stations setup, so please be patient.
