The first annual “Bidding for Body Image†Charity Date Auction will take place at Martini Park to benefit the Children’s Body-Image Foundation. CBIF strives to help improve children’s self-esteem and confidence, raise body image awareness, and promote acceptance of all children within our communities.
Come and enjoy specialty drinks, hors d’oeuvres, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in the Couple’s Lounge and VIP room while all the single ladies and men bid on dates for a good cause. Paul Mitchell will be providing the makeup and hair for all models/dates.
WCMH-NBC4’s Monica Day will be the Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer as the Live Date Auction with twenty local celebrities and fitness models will begin at 7:30 p.m. Pre-bidding will be from 6-7:15 p.m. and all bidding will start at $15.
Tickets for the couples lounge and VIP can be purchased prior to the event at http://www.cbifnow.org or at the registration table the night of event. General Admission to the Date Auction is free. All proceeds from the Date Auction and portion of Martini Park’s sales that evening will benefit financial support to families with children who are dealing with allied medical related health issues.
After the Auction, stick around for Bon Journey who will perform at 9 p.m.
The Children’s Body-Image Foundation is a 100% volunteer organization (no paid staff members) (est. March 2009), professional 501(c)3 nonprofit organization recognized by the I.R.S.
