Does anyone have thoughts to share about bicycling while job hunting or about bicycling to the job interview ? I have car, but have been for several months, an aspiring minimal motorist.
After several months of bicycling about half of my commutes (about 1 hour and 20 minutes each way, depending on the weather and how I am feeling), I have begun to look for jobs closer to my home in Upper Arlington.
I work as a freelance reporter for the Columbus Free Press and WCRS Columbus, but pay my bills by working as a waiter at Abuelo's, a restaurant in Easton serving a type of Mexican, perhaps Tex/Mex food.
I figure that if I believe in myself and in the worthiness of the cause of cycling, biking my job search should turn out to be a plus not a minus.
