Everyone has their favorites. I'd like to try them all. My favorites are Thurman's (full wing, large, as hot as you can stand) and O'Reilly's in Clintonville (big meaty, Scott's style will make you sweat!). Do you agree with my choices? What do you suggest?

I think Hoggy's can stand up against just about anything I have tried. I think BWW probably has just about the worst wings in Columbus.

Barley's downtown...naked/chipotle(on the side) w. blue cheese. Are the best I've ever had period. Hands down. :D Wednesday night is wing night too... awesome!

I've always been partial to the Winking Lizard, which was a favorite of mine when I grew up in NE Ohio.

I like Barley's wings too, from the downtown location. I always get them extra done.
Gallo's on Bethel also has really great wings. I'm not sure how they're prepared, but they take awhile (they warn you when you order them); so I know they're done to order. I think most others are par-cooked and then fried for re-heating, which is probably why they get all dry and gross.
And yes, BWW has the WORST wings. Which is sad, because years and years ago they used to be good.

Mohawk made great wings.
Unfortunatly they dropped them from the menuPosted 2 years ago # -
Barley's Smokehouse for me. Their jerk wings are crazy good.

+1 for Winking Lizard. Ask for them grilled and extra crispy, they will blow your mind.

I had Winking Lizard's a few times this year and they seemed skimpy with little meat and quite dried out.

Easy Street.
Also, don't underestimate Flatiron

I like Barley's and Rooster's. I also think the wings at Banana Bean and Yau's are pretty great.
Edit...I don't see the wings on BB's menu anymore. Bummer...those were really good. :(

I like Jeds (get them extra crispy), Easy Streets, and the High Becks (also extra crispy).

I love the wings at Gallo's but I wish they had a larger selection of sauces to choose from (I believe there are only four).

Seems like most places have too many sauces that are forgettable. Just give me three or four that are REALLY good.

Barley's Smokehouse has by far the best wings in the city. They are first smoked and then grilled with your choice of sauce. I will second the Jerk wings as being delicious.
