I searched the message board and saw bits and pieces of threads that touched on this topic. Let's settle it once and for all (or not). What are the best sandwiches in town?
My favorites:
- corned beef at Danny's Deli
- ahogada torta at Cuco's
- muffuletta at Creole Kitchen
- cubano at Plantain Cafe
- pot roast at Tip Top (I also dig the Monte Cristo, though it's not quite traditional)
- Reuben at Spinelli's Deli

Turkey Pesto on Focaccia at Cafe Brioso
Oven roasted turkey tossed with Brioso's own house basil pesto, mayo and red onion.
Jalapeño Joe at Spinelli's Deli
Turkey, Jalapeño Bacon, Pepperjack Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Chipotle Mayo on a Cheddar Roll.
Swiss Melt at Cafe Corner
Artichoke hearts, crumbled bacon, sauteed onions, amish swiss cheese, dijon horseradish sauce, grilled on sourdough bread.
Spice of Life (#8) at Brown Bag Deli
Roast beef, turkey, corned beef, scallion, cream cheese, tomato, onion and Batampte mustard on a French roll.
Ohio Style Monte Cristo at Tip Top Kitchen & Cocktails
Shaved turkey, ham, swiss cheese and honey mustard between battered and grilled slices of texas toast.

The folks over @ Si Senior are throwing down some mean Cuban inspired sammiches.
My current addictions from them are the Turkey and Jalapeno, nice smoked turkey with the perfect amount of heat and spice.
And their meatloaf with Charizzo (sp) is the slam.
Other favs are Jalapeno Joe from Spinelli's, the Tuna sandwhich from Barrio, the Chicken Parmasean from that Pizza place in the North Market, name escapes me now.

Everything I've had at Si Senor has been great, but I don't think I have an absolute favorite picked out yet. Would require some more tasting.
I would say that the Cuban from Plantain Cafe might be a new addition to my list of faves. Good stuff.
