Downtown LIVE! Summer Concert Series
What: Featuring numerous bands, this summer concert series is free, live, and outdoors, located in one of the city's nicest patios. Food and drinks offered all evening, with perks of daily specials, are provided by Darby's Café and San Francisco Oven.
When: Thursdays. June 11 - August 27. Happy Hour starts at 4:30 p.m. Live music from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Pearl Market
What: Settled in the city's bustling focus, Pearl Market is situated on Pearl Alley, just one block north of the Ohio Statehouse. The market offers locally grown, fresh produce along with baked goods and handicrafts, such as jewelry, handmade goods, and gift items. Promoting the purchase of fresh, locally grown produce, the Pearl Market also enhances Columbus' cultural diversity.

Summer Lunchtime Performing Arts Series
What: A weekly performing arts spectacular, the Summer Lunchtime Performing Arts Series gathers the community on the West Plaza's Capitol Square, the Statehouse's beautiful historic lawn, to experience Columbus' many diverse arts groups.
When: July 10 - August 28. Every Friday. 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

The Topiary Park
What: Seven acres of neatly groomed park grounds, featuring hundreds of trimmed topiaries, the Topiary Park is certainly a unique experience. These green characters, the artwork of the park, mimic George Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Isle of La Grande Jatte. With beautifully landscaped walks, benches, and picnic tables, the topiaries aren't the only thing to see!
When: Sunrise - Sunset. Year-round.

Jazz & Rib Fest
What: This summertime festival includes countless rib vendors and contestants and live music, primarily jazz. With numerous live performers, and an extensive playing schedule, also comes a series of fun activities, including COSI's traveling science exhibit, barbeque tutorials, food samples of Sunny Delight Smoothies and M&M's Brand Ice Cream, and an up-close and personal look at some of nature's wildest animals with Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour.
When: July 24 - 26

Festival Latino
What: The Festival Latino has provided varied family fun, delicious Latin cuisine, handmade ethnic gifts and trinkets, and live Latin music and dancing, for many years. The tradition will continue with a fun-filled, spicy weekend!
When: August 15 -16. 11 am - 8 pm

OSU Urban Arts Space
What: Introducing the university to the art of Ohio and the world, the OSU Urban Arts Space serves as an arts laboratory for students, faculty, and community artists. The space will be welcoming two new exhibits in the months of July and August, which will continue later in the year. BIGG: Breakthrough Ideas in Global Glass will include works from OSU Department of Art's Glass Programs, OSU Urban Arts Space, and Hawk Galleries. The August exhibition, The Monuments of Columbus, features a bizarre capturing of nature in an urban setting, as obscure subjects, such as flowers growing through the concrete of Interstate 670, become of interest.

The North Market
What: This summer, North Market will have a tight schedule of well-planned events! Throughout the months of July and August, there will be frequently offered live music events and many fresh produce and handicraft markets and festivals, among those being, the Ohio Proud Sunday and Artisan Sunday. PBJ & Jazz at the Topiary Park: Jazz for Kids and Families
What: With a picnic lunch and blanket in tow, families will love the Summer PBJ Concerts. Featuring local professional musicians, the concerts and performances are themed according to that of Family Storytime at the Main Columbus Metropolitan Library.
When: July 18 & August 15. Noon - 1 pm.

The Short North
What: Columbus' Short North is constantly busy with special festivals, events, Gallery Hops, and other outdoor cosmopolitan fun! These events will continue throughout the summer with Gallery Hops on the first Saturday of every month, the Doo Dah Parade, Independent's Hop, the Summer Sidewalk Sale, Art Al Fresco, and the Short North Talent Night. These events range from fresh produce markets to a display of shop owner's talents, such as unicycle riding and performing Shakespeare!

Wexner Center for the Arts
What: Throughout July and August, the Wexner Center will have numerous wonderful exhibitions, open free to the public on Thursday and the first Sunday of the month. In the beautiful weather of summertime, the center will also be showing two drive-in films and two other films at their indoor theater complex, “The Boxâ€Â.

The Main Columbus Metropolitan Library
What: Throughout the summer, the library will offer storytime for all ages and even families, along with special events for various child-geared interests, among those this summer, sharks, juggling, story-telling, Ohio, and even fingerprint science! Don't forget the Summer PBJ Concerts whose themes coincide with the library's daily storytime!
