Fado is pretty damned good, despite being a pub-in-a-box chain.
A few days before St. Patty's Day, I figured I'd give them a try; I had time to kill as Sprint was working on my cell phone. If you've ever walked into a place and felt negative mojo, that's how I felt. The small front bar was filled with a lethargic looking group, one of them smoking a rank stogie. No one was there at the host stand, and the bartender just stood there behind the bar. Maybe it was a comatose calm before the St. Patty's Day storm, but I did an about face and got the hell out of there.
I'm chalking it up to an off day, as I know they draw quite the crowd there some days. Their fish and chips is probably pretty good, that's what I was thinking on my impromptu visit. Next time.
