I'd love to know the answer to that one too. I can tell you that it is NOT at Due Amici. I was pretty disappointed with theirs.
However, for a little bit of a different spin on eggs benedict, check out the eggs del mar at Banana Bean Cafe. YUM! It's poached eggs on top of crab cakes with sauteed spinach and tomato hollandaise.Posted 3 years ago # -

I love eggs benedict. Is there any place that makes them with just crabmeat and not the crabcake? there is a place back home that does it, just wondering.

I was really disappointed with the eggs del mar I had at the Banana Bean second location. The spinach was watery, and the crab cakes didn't taste like much. (That hollandaise was great, tho!) May have been a one-time problem, but I was pretty disappointed.
Surprisingly, the EB at Bob Evans on Olentangy is pretty good. At least I think it's pretty good -- it's my favorite hangover cure, so my judgement at the point of consumption may not be the best.

Give Rise N Dine's a try. Their Eggs Blackstone is really, really good.

Bob Evans ... is pretty good.Seconded. Ohio Based Bob Evans doesn't suck.
3rded! Bob Evans makes a mean EB.
it's my favorite breakfast item, but most places fail at making them.Bob Evans is good if you are NOT looking for a real homemade hollandaise sauce. I will say they always make sure the eggs are not overcooked.
I had the same experience at the new Banana Bean too AND my eggs were cold :(
Is there anywhere that makes real hollandiase? Eggs Benedict is my all time favorite breakfast.Posted 3 years ago # -
the only place I can recommend a good EB outside of Bob Evans is
Dino's House of Pancakes in Myrtle Beach SC http://www.myrtlebeachscrestaurants.com/Dinos-House-of-Pancakes-North-Myrtle-Beach.htmlPosted 3 years ago # -
I have not been in several years, but I would bet The Worthington Inn has legit EB.

Bon Vie USED to have fabulous EB (as well as other brunch delights) but their menu changed and it's only been available once when I've been there, as a special since then. Their fries, tho, almost make up for the loss of the EB and croque monsieur.
