I think City BBQ has some level of consistency of creating real BBQ and a plethora of choices as far as meats, sides, and sauces. They're definitely much better than the Montgomery Inn, which isn't real BBQ and 2-3x the price.
I wasn't happy with my Ray Ray's brisket on Friday because it was dried out, but it seems like an exception based on pics and comments from before. I want to try the Sunday brisket. I thought the pulled pork was solid and their ribs were some of the best I've ever tasted. Really like the baked beans too, which has a zippy sauce.
There is actually no worse BBQ than Montgomery Inn. Just awful and not fit for human consumption.
Anywhere in Cbus that does authentic Memphis style?
