Can't find it on the ALIVE! site
David formally of Tip Top was the best bartender in town.
That sassy guy from Barrel 44 is good.

Apparently I don't drink enough cause I don't know any of those people. So I voted for your girl Brandy even though I don't like Park Street.

All of the bartenders at 185 and Bristol (except there is one grumpy female bartender at Bristol I do not appreciate her salty demeanor.)

I can't believe I'm saying this, but apparently I don't drink enough. Not a name on there that I recognize.
I'm so ashamed.

Pat from the Hey Hey FTW!

NONE of the bartenders at the ravari room should be on this list and I am glad to see they are not.
one should NOT be ignored at a bar while the bartenders admire their tattoos in the mirror or concentrate on their gum chewing or whatever it is they do while people are dying of thirst around them.

The problem with the Best Bartender in Columbus list is that they picked some of the worst bars.

My fave bartender is still Dana at Martini. She always remembered my fave drinks and how to make them exactly as I wanted. It was always so comforting that she'd see me parking my car and have my fave dirty martini sitting in front of me by the time I got to the barstool.
I need to get back there...hope she's still around.
A close second would be the guy at the Round Bar who gets me all sloshy every time I'm there. He makes a mean Jack and Coke...certainly light on the coke.

Helen is a very professional bartender and Donovan is cool as hell. Everyone else there is the absolute worst. We've stopped going to Ravari. B gets awesome service when she used to go, but I'd get treated like shit even though I'm prolly one of the best tippers at the bar. then they'd realize I was with B and I'd get good treatment, it is really fugged up. So i know it's not that they can't give good service to everyone, they just choose not to. So we just don't go anymore. And don't even think about begging for a glass of water,
the old bald tattooed bar manager is a prick. Now I don't know him personally and he might be cool, but his customer sevice skills are at the bottom. whenever I would see him servicing one side of the bar I'd go to the opposite to get served by someone else. Should I be doing that as a customer? I always tip, and what pains me is to tip for bad service when you know you shouldn't, so I would always try to avoid doing so. I know the money all goes in the same pot, but it's physically revolting to me to actually hand (free/tip) money over to someone like that.
We've dropped plenty(a lot alot a lot a lot) of coin in that place, I dunno, maybe I'm just getting older, but for the money I spend I should not expect to be treated like shit when I'm handing them money. You aren't doing me a favor by getting me a drink, I'm doing you a favor by patronizing your bar.
I used to really like the place, but over the years it's gone downhill. maybe the place is for the younguns and meth heads that don't care to be treated poorly. i like the place to hang out in, but getting a drink can be torture.
And no mention of Wayne and Tommy fron High Beck? WTF, they are great (even though I don't go there anymore)

Tonya @ Short North Tavern should be on that list too. Not including the SNT makes the contest seem phony.

I had the worst drinks in recent memory there a couple weekends ago. Every time I go in there, that place gets more and more bizarro. Viv and I were totally creeped out by a couple of 50 something dudes.
Although the drunk chick falling off the darts area and maybe breaking a rib was entertaining.
