When you've had enough with cafes, what are your favorite bars for reading a book or working on a laptop?
I know we have places that have both coffee and alcohol: MoJoe Lounge, Cafe Apropos, Kafe Kerouac. But I'm looking for more bar options. So far I've had good reading experiences in:
- Flatiron - good almost any time of day
- Tip Top - quiet between lunch rush and evening. need to be directly under a light source inside. patio's great in nice weather.
- Little Palace - any time before evening. good daylight in the afternoon.
On the wi-fi side, I've seen people work on laptops at Claddagh during the day. Skully's advertises wi-fi, but I don't know about that one. Not sure what other bars offer wi-fi.
Any other suggestions?
