THE BENCHMARK PREVIEWS COLUMBUS' NEWEST LIVING COMMUNITY WITH SERIES OF OPEN HOUSES AND SUPPORTS DRESS FOR SUCCESS COLUMBUS
The Benchmark, Columbus' newest living community will be offering previews of their unique, eco-friendly property and residential flats through a series of upcoming Open Houses. Slated to run from 5:30-7:30PM on Tuesday, October 30th, Monday November 5th and Wednesday, November 14th, participants will be see first-hand the innovative features of this complex including open floor plans, upper balconies and upscale amenities, reminiscent of boutique hotels. As well, the modern Community Building area housing a WiFi lounge, fitness studio, a green space with walking paths, dog park, plentiful bike racks and a saltwater pool coming in Spring 2013.
As part of these events, The Benchmark is asking for attendees to bring donations for Dress for Success Columbus and support the mission of empowering women and supporting them through their journey to economic self-sufficiency. Dress for Success Columbus provides professional clothing, career services and employment retention programs for all women referred to the mission, free of charge. Items most in need include professional accessories/jewelry, new cosmetics and personal care items.
Dress for Success Columbus will have YES! (Young Executives for Success) Members on hand at each event, accepting donations and sharing more information about the organization, the mission and women served. Says Executive Director, Vicki Bowen-Hewes, “We are grateful to The Benchmark team for including us in the Open House Previews and providing a forum to bring in donations to our mission. More than 3,500 women have been assisted since we opened in 2007 and we'll serve more than 1,000 in this year alone. Every donation counts and helps a woman in need."
