If you missed Hopslam the first time we had it at St. James, don't worry. We are tapping another keg this Thursday. It has been a while since we did a cask too& our friends at Bell's were kind enough to send us a cask of Two Hearted Ale! Thankfully there will be food at this event too because Pitabilites is setting up from 6-9. Hope to see you there!

BUMP. Please attend this one - we want to pack the house and keep mobile going at the St. James.

And....bump again. I "taste drove" the Pitabilities Fried Chicken Pita with buffalo sauce last night....it was really good. They have also added Cinnamon deep fired pita chips - very, very good. Jim Sweeney mentioned he would be at St. James, hoping for OSU Lew and the rest of you too.

ECDI SPOTLIGHT — BY EVELYN EBERT

Jim Pashovich of Grove City had operated a small food cart in the ’80s and ’90s, but the industry became too unpredictable and he could not see any opportunities for growth. He went into real estate, but eventually found himself lured back by the excitement and versatility of mobile food.

Well - it is hard to compete against a CU Meet Up. Pitabilities had about 25 people dine with them - including the reknown Mike Beaumont. Would love to get those numbers up for the next Mobile Monday festuring Freedom a la Cart.
Here are some pics from last night.

honestly weather was a bit of a factor.

Yeah, the drizzling rain seemed to be a pretty big downer all around last night. :P

I specifically didn't tell @geedeck about last night since we'd already hit Mikey's on Monday, and as the person who tries to establish a healthy meal plan each week, one food truck a week for dinner is enough (imo). I should of known better, he spotted the truck out the window and was out the door and back with gyros and pita chips before I could even broach the topic of dinner.

Next time you see me, I'll buy you a beer to make up for the situation being created at St. James. The goal is to have mobile there 3 - 4 days per week. And healthy food is in the works - most of the trucks and carts have or will have some healthy choices.

I just know @geedeck can't resist a food truck, let alone one practically in our front yard. :)

Thank you to all who came out last night! Odd- I think rain keeps more people inside than snow or exreme cold. Silliness. It was still quite a decent beer drinking turnout. I am starting to think that later is always better at my bar for the food trucks. Seems people like to get their beer buzz on before they grab some food. Heh. We do have a little Hopslam left so come out tonight& grab a pint before it is gone. Tatoheads is coming tonight for the late night crowd too! Cheers!
