So, it's about the time that I bite the bullet and get my damp basement taken care of. The old very thin and broken slab needs removed in part or in whole. Drain tile needs layed on the inside of the foundation and a new sump pit needs installed.
Can someone recommend a good company/person to get this work done? I'm willing to help, or do some of the tasks on my own, but I have no experience finishing concrete (but I'd love to learn).
As for the new floor, it may be possible to bring concrte in through a basement window (with a long chute) from the sidestreet, or a pump truck may be necessary.
Thanks,
Jason
