Where are they?
Surly Girl is the only one that comes to mind offhand.
Spagio Cellars might not, but I can't recall.
ETA: Duh, since I'm counting wine bars, the Twisted Vine also is sans TV

Bodega has two projectors, but they show television programming on them.
do you count bars at 'finer' places? Trattoria Roma etc? I think there are plenty of those without Jerry Springer in the background.
eta: I am beginning to remember Trattoria Roma even having a tv...
Haven't had them since opening in 2003. I always thought that having a conversation with the unknown person next to you would be more interesting than staring as the colored screen without talking.
Why do you bring it up?
I LOVE it when Deep Wood has fireplaces on both of their bar Tee Vees! Their bar is certainly top notch.
Mr Geedeck and I had dinner at Sushi Rock over the weekend and I commented how strange it was they had TVs all over the place. Granted, Sushi Rock is upscale, upscale dining, but the streaming ESPN seemed to conflict with the overall ambiance of the place.
I can testify that Trattoria Roma does, in fact, have TVs. We went there for our anniversary a couple of years ago, which coincidentally fell on the same night as the Bengals/Steelers game. We sat on the patio and I could hardly hold my (die-hard Bengals fan) husband's attention. He was watching the game through the window the whole time!
To their credit, though, the TVs are only on the "bar" side of the establishment. The "dining" side is free of them.

Ah, that's right, I forgot you guys were TV free.

Yeah, it's really easy to be distracted by the TV, even when the sound is off.

I see TVs in just about every bar. I think it's easier to catalogue the bars without TVs than to list everyplace with one.
Gotcha; probably gonna be a pretty short list!
Believe u me, sometimes I wonder how smart of an idea that is for us; Columbus is such an OSU/sports town.
I don't think Mama's Pasta and Brew has a set, but I could be wrong. I don't recall TVs in any of the Lessner places except Betty's, but I'm never looking for them and often ignoring them when they're on....
Betty's, TipTop and DF have TVs. Surly Girl does not.
Bodega has the projectors, but I don't think they were on the last few days.
A friend informs me Mama's does have TVs. Three of them. So I'm obviously not very astute.
What about Applebee's or Damon's?
Hey Corey! Welcome back! ;)
Howdy Sir Walker, thanks for the greeting!

Either way, I love Mamas for lunch. The owner is absolutely awesome and the food is solid and cheap.
