Hey all,
I'm seeking some great local (Columbus & central Ohio) music to place in our upcoming Next 10 special that airs in early September. Last year's 2015 special featured a lot of local artists (Envelope, Colin Gawel, Karate Coyote, among others) and we'd love to feature some more.
Here's my request, email me at david.plantz(at)10tv.com with a link to your track on SoundCloud, Myspace, or wherever. I'm open to hearing everything. Rock, indie, folk, pop, electronic, and hip-hop that's somewhat up-tempo and/or positive will probably fit the show the best. But feel free to surprise me if you're in love with something outside that mold... Music needs to be 100% yours with samples approved, etc. You know this stuff. :-)
We are considering this an even trade: We use your song (in this program only) in exchange for publicity and give you a credits listing. You can always email me with questions.
Excited to hear what people send in. As always in things like this, WBNS reserves the right to use or not to use the music (but we'd let you know if the track isn't going to fit). Also, should we get an over-abundance of music, my apologies if we cannot use every submission this time around.
The program has evolved into a documentary / reality show of sorts where we drive around central Ohio looking for the "Next Big Thing". We'll need music for driving scenes as well as for other fun interaction. If that helps you decide...
