AIDS Resource Center Ohio’s Art For Life 2012: Call for artists!
Donate your artwork and compete for the chance to be shown in Art for Life in either the silent or live auction! Gain exposure to the art community in Columbus and support the advocacy, treatment, and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Central Ohio.
ARC Ohio’s biennial gala, Art for Life, will be held at the Columbus Museum of Art on Saturday, September 22, 2012. The Honorary Chair for the evening will be Dr. E. Gordon Gee, President of The Ohio State University. Submit artwork by July 9, 2012 at http://www.artforlifecolumbus.com . Submitted pieces will be evaluated by a panel of jurors and selected pieces will be included in the live or silent auction. Artwork should be framed prior to drop off date. Since 1989, Art for Life has become a highly anticipated fundraiser and the largest charity art auction in Central Ohio. Art for Life is a truly special evening filled with glitz, glamour, food, and drink, set against the backdrop of amazing art donated by local and national artists and the who’s who of Columbus. Art for Life is always an unforgettable evening and an excellent opportunity for artists to compete for spots in the silent and live auctions.
AIDS Resource Center Ohio, formerly the Columbus AIDS Task Force, is leading the fight against HIV/AIDS through awareness, advocacy, and care. We are a client-focused, community-based provider of specialized HIV prevention, testing, care, advocacy, and support services providing direct assistance in 62 of the 88 Ohio counties, as well as education and advocacy work statewide. 90% of funds raised go towards direct support services for those living with HIV/AIDS.
