WAVERLY, Ohio - A Lucasville woman is scheduled to be arraigned today in the hit-skip death of a Michigan physician who was struck while riding his bicycle in Pike County.
Sara Bender, 35, recently was indicted for leaving the scene of a fatal accident, said Pike County Prosecutor Robert Junk.
She is accused of striking and killing William Crowley, 57, of Northville, Mich., while he rode his bicycle along Rt. 23 during the Tour of the Scioto River Valley on May 11.
