I've been a big fan of Worthington Jewelers in Old Worthington on High Street, just south of 161. I know some people also go to Denig's, across the street, but I have no experience with them. I know they both offer a different lineup of jewelry and watches if you want to check them both out and compare.

Jack Seibert JewelersAgreed. They did a wonderful job cleaning my grandmother's wedding ring. Loved the original pieces they had on display as well.

William Weidinger has some really great stuff. I bought wedding bands from him and got my grandmothers ring resized and all shiny.

Jack Seibert Jewelers+1 We got my wife's engagement ring here. Had it custom-made and when there was an issue, they very promptly took care of it and had it back to us sooner than was originally estimated.

In a former life I bought an engagement ring from Jim Kesser of Jewelry From Kesser, 94 Granville St., Gahanna, OH. The service wasn superb and the prices were excellent. I would not hesitate to shop there again in the future.

They have a good "classic" selelction and also do a fair amount of custom "in-house" designs. Super-friendly too. I recall he used to be in the Short North by another name, but can't remember the exact story.

Argo and Lehne in UA. They are a class act. I had the prongs on my mother's engagement ring (which was bought there 40 yrs ago) replaced and they did an excellent job.

It might not be your thing, but Grandview Mercantile has some way cool jewelry.

I had great luck at Alexander's Jewelers on High St. for my wedding ring. Also try Etsy's Shop Local page; a ton of talented jewelry-makers sell there.

Gustavo at Beechwold Custom Jewelers is my go-to guy. He made my wedding ring. I highly recommend him.

I agree on both Alexander's and The Mercantile. Alexander's is super helpful and friendly and you can always find something interesting and unique at Grandview Mercantile.

Yup. Another vote for Mr. Weidinger. His craftmanship and customer service are second to none. If you click on the Yelp link that jennyw posted you'll see my review.

I bought my wife's engagement ring at the Grandview Mercantile and then had her band custom-made at Diamond Exchange on Gay @ High. Both experiences were a pleasure.
