HELLO FRIENDS ... and those who will eventually become friends.
I'm a huge board gamer ... I love anything from super silly and obscure games to regular old Yatzee. Thanks to Indie Pen Dent and HeySquare ... I recently discovered the amazing game called APPLES TO APPLES.
Last week, I brought the game to Tip Top in the early to late evening hours. We had such a great time that I brought it to my beer tasting at Surly Girl this past Sunday evening.
Since I'm completely an addict ... I've started this thread to let people know when and where I will be playing my next game.
TONIGHT. MONDAY JUNE 9th. We return to Tip Top Kitchen & Cocktails. I will be heading there soon and intend on being there around 8:45 ish. SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!

So... Bang is just another retheming of "Mafia" or "Werewolf" then, yes? Those games are always fun, but take a pretty good sized crowd.
Apples to Apples is indeed a good time. I love board/card games - we tend to play every day at lunch at work, so I'm always on the lookout for good games that can fit in a 1 hour window.
Fluxx is a fun quick & easy card game.
1000 Blank White Cards is a blast, and it's all do-it-yourself!
The Great Dalmuti is another fun game for larger groups (5-8).
In addition to card games, I also enjoy a lot of the German-style board games - though those usually don't fit within an hour. Stuff like Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Tonginaki, Ticket to Ride, etc, etc.

I tend to bring Werewolf along too ... just in case.

I have rehearsal in Dublin 7-9 or else I'd be down, and I have to work on this workshop thing I'm doing later in the month and the block of time I would have used for kickball seems to fit perfectly for that. Maybe next time.

I keep misreading the title of this thread and the "Apple Fanboys" thread. I think it would be safe to call Hazy a Apple to Apple fanboy[girl]. :)
