Howdy all, The Billies are joining a fantastic lineup this year at Appy Uprising, the "fastest growing bluegrass music festival in North America".
This fest takes place in a beautiful narrow hollow in the hills of Southern Ohio, and kind of reminds me of Nelsonville festival with a more Appalachian Americana bent, and far, far better camping.
Rumor has it that Billy Two Shoes will be playing at 7pm Friday night.
The Infamous Stringdusters close out Thursday, Ricky Skaggs closes out Friday, and the Punch Brothers finish out Saturday night.
We're hoping that we can get a nice crew of Columbus folks down for the show, beyond our normal troop of followers. There's certain to be an unnecessary amount of hootenanny going on, for sure.
So come on down and raise a ruckus (and a glass of bourbon) with us!
