Are there any here on board? I've seen three locals on the site's various shelter contests...just curious. On a related note, is anyone here interested in a local variation of their house tours via Flicker? So many creative people here--I'm sure that translates well into how people express themselves in their space....

Is that the site that does the small places contest every year? My mom showed it to me once and I got a lot of really great ideas when I was trying to figure out how to manage with 306 sq ft (and believe me, that extra 6 was HUGE!!!) in NYC.
I consider myself a pro at spaces 500 or less with all the practice I've had over the years, but now I have an empty condo and no clue what to do with all the space :( I'd love to see ideas from people for inspiration!! And I agree, with all the creativity on this site I can only imagine the killer pads y'all must inhabit!!

Yes, The Smallest Coolest Apartment Contest is the awesome! Although small spaces aren't really that much of a problem here, I've noticed that having too much space can be just as daunting. Open floor plans and extra rooms (like nature) love a vacuum. :wink:
