I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere (gyms, private instructors) that offer 1 on 1 basketball lessons to work on the mechanics of my shooting for adults.

If that doesn't work, keep your elbow straight, flick your wrist on the follow thru, use only one hand to shoot and the other to guide, and for god's sake don't watch current players to learn shooting tips (they're horrible for the most part).
