Festival latino is tonight and tomorrow. It looks like there is a $1 cover tonight and $30 tomorrow to see the show? I am interested because I want to eat some yummy mexican food, but am a little apprehensive since there were shootings there last year. Maybe I'll stop by after work when its still light out. . .
Anyone going to this? Anyone heard anything about the bands? $30 seems like a lot of money to see a band when they're just playing outside.

I have to say that I was very disappointed. It was a very sad festival. I think we were there for maybe 40 minutes. There were no margaritas. The stands were hawking tacky wares. We didn't even stand in line for a taco. I guess I'm spoiled from living in Southern California and enjoying Mexican culture but I felt truly saddened for the Columbus Latino community.
