I will be there opening day.
However, word around this movie is not that great. They got a new director, and apparently the script was awful.
That being said, I'll wait to see it to pass judgement.

I love seeing the trailer for it!

The first two were good action movies, so hopefully the third will be at least as good.
My expectations for action movies has been lowered this week though after watching UltraViolet. UGH.

Forget X-Men 3... SPIDER-MAN 3!!! They just released a new pic of Spidey in the black costume so it looks like Venom will be in the third movie after all. Hahaha alright I'm a nerd.

i know you are excited about SpiderMan 3 but that doesn't come out until May of 2007. X-Men will be out this May which is why I'm getting excited. Spidy will be good next year but that is next year. Not this year.

Speaking of superhero movies coming out this year, Superman looks like it will be fun to watch too. I was never a big fan of the Superman comics though. Not like I was of X-Men. 8)

Yea I know what you're saying WILDMAN. I can't wait till 2007 though. I didn't like the last X-Men as much as the first one... thought it lacked action. But X3 does look way better so far from the trailers especially with the inclusion of Beast. Lots of good comic movies comin out this year that I wanna see... X3, Superman and Ghost Rider even though I'm not a big Nick Cage fan. I think Superman looks the most intriguing though.

Ugh... I think Ghost Rider is going to turn out to be this year's Daredevil or Punisher.

Awesome. I saw Juggernaut in the preview and that made me giddy.
Plus, Multiple Man was always one of my favorite characters, but I'm sure he'll be pretty minor in the movie....

less than a week before the movie hits the big screen. i saw that the movie is 1 hour and 40 minutes so it seems that they don't waste anytime getting to the point of the movie. i really hope the movies does well. i wll be watching this move at Arena Grand. nothing against Easton movies or the movie theater at Polairs but i just don't feel like being around a bunch of kids. with that said, i don't mind paying 12 dollars per ticket to sit in the balcony and watch the movie at eye level instead of looking up. Arena Grand is worth the money. another plus if you are 21+, it doesn't hurt to buy a drink from the full service bar to enjoy the movie even more. X-3 is coming!!!! 8)

I sat in the balcony for Da Vinci code this past weekend, and have to say I wasn't too impressed (with the movie or the seating). The best thing was the reserved seating, I got there 5 minutes before the movie started and had a great seat (having bought tickets earlier this week).
Anyways, xmen 3 hopefully will kick all kinds of ass.

Yeah, this is a lot of fun for big movie releases. I've seen some of the Harry Potter movies and Lord of the Rings Movies from the balcony and it's great for movies like that! 8)

Yeah, they did that for the teaser, which was cool. There's a full lengeth trailer out for it as well.
I've read people totally ripping on the new superman movie, but I think it looks ok. I was never a huge fan of the originals or anything, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm not totally sold on it yet, but I admit when the Superman theme kicks in during the preview it does get my blood going a bit. Probably top 3 movie theme ever.

Saw this last night, I thought it was great! Awesome action, kick ass special effect, some real "holy crap" moments in there. The audience I saw it with seemed to really enjoy it too, numerous times people were clapping and yelling at the screen (in a good way), myself included.
Word to the wise, DO NOT leave when the credits roll though! Stay till the credits are done running. Trust me!

1. GLAD TO HEAR...I've read so many so-so or even bad reviews, was actually waiting for someone here or on Myspace to review it since I relate better to the people both places.
2. THANK YOU...I'd have never waited through the credits on a "series finale" type movie otherwise.
Hoping to see this Sunday afternoon, between this, Da Vinci Code, and Thank You For Smoking...probably will depend on the company more than my tastes, or it wouldn't even be a question it'd be XMEN BABY!!!

If the way the audience reacted to this movie is any indication, word of mouth on this is going to be great. I think everyone in that theatre had a good time at this.
