I've been trying to find a good loop trail with moderate to difficult rating. Looking at the Ohio DNR page, I found this park located in Laurelville.
There is a 23-mile loop trail that is rumored to be pretty sweet. (Except for the prevalence of timber rattlers, which they list in the overview.)
Anyone ever been there? If not, know of any good two-day, overnight trails within 100 miles?
(I've done the Burr Oak State Park loop, and I loved it.)

Zelesky State Forest is another one you might want to look at - it's commonly used as a mid-level training loop for higher intensity trails out west. it's just north of Lake Hope.

Ticks are bad everywhere...I picked 2 huge ones off of me just playing frisbee golf in dublin the other day. I hate those nasty things :x

I'm actually going there to camp in two weeks! We went about the same time last year and had a blast. It's very picturesque. The camp grounds were pretty nice... OK facilities and all that. As far as hiking, I'm not a professional hiker or anything and don't remember the trail name. All I can say is it was pretty. :)
