Thanks for mentioning Decanted: A House Wine Book Group. That's a really neat partnership program between House Wine (who hosts the event) and Worthington Libraries (who help facilitate, organize, and promote it).
Donnie Austin and all the folks at the Library are really excited about it. The first discussion was held this past Tuesday and I've heard it was a lot of fun. It sounds like a great book group in the making.
As far as something closer to downtown, I think Pixie Doll's suggestion of seeing what's on Meet Up might be a good one. You might also considering starting a book group of your own. Between the readers, urbanists, and interesting people on this board (as well as your own connections) you could probably pull something together. Good luck!
