"Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow" screened at the Wexner Center last Thursday. The film is an examination of Anselm Kiefer's studio and work near Barjac, France.
I enjoyed the movie. It really got me thinking about Kiefer as a fine artist vs Kiefer's place in the context of visionary environments and outsider art. It's worth checking out if you're a Kiefer fan and have the patience for a pretty meditatively paced film.
