Another radio show.
This week the guys from Shark Week at WCRS come out to host the venue. They've already done some pre-gaming on the air. Click below for this week's episode.

I went to whatever show was last Friday. Was a great time, and the bands were great... but even for a dollar... that burger beer is nasty. I don’t care if it is the pabst replacement for hipster status.. it taste like windex and natty light had a baby and rubbed it with some fruity car air freshener.
Glad I could get whatever the one from the elevator was for 2 bucks.

Thanks for the kind words of endorsement. This week we'll be having a Pub Themed Show with Country, Blue Grass, and Folk bands playing in between rounds of Pub Trivia.
At the end of the night, you can try to challenge our doorman, Zach Henkel (alias Captain Cream Cheese, Cyclist, and Cyclist II), to a battle of konwledge over local Columbus trivia for his nightly wages.

I didn't get there until almost midnight. What times does this event usually get started?

Glad I could get whatever the one from the elevator was for 2 bucks.I like me some cheap crappy beer and i gotta say…Burger Beer is just about undrinkable. no offense to Dragonfly or the purveyors of the Greatest Show. I'll take PBR or Black Label all day long over Burger.

I gotta +1 that. Anytime I've had Burger Beer I've wished I were dead the next day. There's a reason we're practically paid to drink the stuff, I think.
The show sounds good though :)

it tastes like some sort of biological experiment…that escaped from the lab before it was finished, but then was captured by some outlaw beer sellers who weren't sure how to finish it so they just let it continue to ferment in the can. I do like the graphic design on the can though.
and yes i will agree that these shows are the best thing to happen to that sleepy little corner of town in years. with all the fun going on at Dragonfly/Neo-V/On the Fly, you need never set foot in Hamptons across the street.

The show sounds good though :)Did I drink Burger at Hal and Al's that night? Have I been shunning Black Label since then when Burger was really to blame?

No it was Black Label that night. But Burger and Black Label, IMO, spout from the very same horn of Satan.

I recall switching to something once we drank all the BL, but I think it was that weird stuff that starts with an O that's also equally terrible.

It doesn't help if you just got a Bürger that was just put into the ice cooler. Hopefully, they can keep a steady supply on ice because warm Bürger is quite unpleasant.
