Yes, Amanda Knox from University of Washington, wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher in what the prosecutor called "a drug-fueled sex game gone wrong."

Yes the Amanda Knox who was railroaded by a prosecutor already indicted for abuse of office who has been since convicted himself. Bad science, bad theories, bad policing, biased interpretation of red-herring non-evidence... A perfect storm of relentless incompetence, media circus and a prejudged case decided before the trial started. Held for a year without charges when murder suspects are allowed house arrest. The victim of a non-stop campaign of illegal leaks from the investigation that should result in charges against the prosecutor (prosecutors run investigations over there). And then the year long trial... including withheld evidence, convenient "witnesses" and napping Jurors. Yes That Amanda. Read more on the link above... Injustice in Perugia... it will open your eyes.

A great injustice has occurred in Perugia, Italy. Three people have been convicted of a crime committed by one. Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito are totally innocent.
Judicial mistakes happen in all countries. In Wenatchee Washington two decades ago dozens of people were convicted of various sex crimes that they didn't commit. All were eventually exonerated. In certain rare cases the people must come in and see for themselves if justice has been done. There is an important place for the people to hold public officials accountable.
I urge everyone to take a close look at this case and to approach it with an open mind. Many good Americans such as the organizers of the Columbus fundraiser have stood up and taken a stand.
Bad things sometimes happen to good people. The family of the victim, Meredith Kercher, has suffered a terrible loss. Justice must be done and in fact one man has been convicted. The conviction of the other two innocent young people must be confronted by good people everywhere.
