i went last year and bought at 71 CB 350 for 400 bucks .Not a bad deal. i am trying to go this year but i have no one to go with on friday and saturday i have a bachelors party. I feel like if i go sunday it will be dead.

If you're all about the swap meet, then yeah Sunday is the day everyone is packing up and leaving. So if you get there around 2, it'll seem like a scene out of The Grapes of Wrath.
BUT there's plenty of racing to be seen on Sunday. And personally I enjoy hitting VMD by myself, I can watch whatever races I want or spend the day picking through the swap meet for as long as I can stand it.

of course a motorized & well-lubed posse is equally fun, but I'm trying to talk this guy into coming up there solo! SO KNOCK IT OFF

Annnnnnd I'd tell you to look us up on Friday dckareem, but last year most of the phones were turd sammiches and didn't get much of a signal (except mine because I'm rad-tastic)...but if you wanna PM me for my info that would be fine.
But Friday is a great day to get lost in the swapmeet by yourself. I could have dug through that crap for days.
Er.
Well.
Guess we kinda did.
Oooooh...and don't forget sunscreen folks? My nose has just now grown back from last year.Posted 2 years ago # -
I am hoping to get a super cheap (200-400) super small (100-175) cb or cl that is restorable but not necessarily running or running all that well. Is that reasonable and would my chances be better Sunday or Friday?
