I think the word "networking" was used in the survey because people know what it means, and it can be a pretty broad term used to describe business or personal relations.
Semantics schamantics.
I do think it's interesting that The Alive is running this survey. I agree with ndcent that Columbus is fine as it is, and we should embrace our strong points and kick any sort of inferiority complex to the curb. But at the same time that doesn't mean that we shouldn't strive to improve and look towards positive growth in the future.
Hopefully some people will bother to give feedback worthy of good indepth article in The Alive. I'll only be disappointed if the the final result is a two-page spread with photos and not something a bit more grand.
