They are doing it because they figured they would fill the marketing budget rather than reduce our electric bills. Thanks AEP.
Yeah, and somehow I bet the electricity they are using to power it is being billed to the customer at retail instead of wholesale prices :p
I like the neon... there is nothing wrong with a company spending a little money to spruce up downtown's night time skyline.
