I think the dispatch and alive suggested city center for this use.

Do you have a particular building in mind CDS? I would love some close quarters combat. 8)
Btw, Rivet will be rounding up people for a group paintball outing (including t-shirt givewaways) on a Sunday in early May. We are working on a flyer right now and will post one hopefully in a few days on this site and elsewhere.

I used to play at what is now the Graceland Target. It was legit, but was a former store of some sort. Playing indoor paintball in the dark was pretty sweet.

that place was cool it was the old dunhams sporting goods. but close combat would be sweet. im thinking of private property. permission granted of course. the brick b and t would be great but that place is way too dangerous. get more then 10 people in there and it might collapse. hey thats an idea....

Wow! that's great to have a place such as yours put weight behind a fun local event. I'll definitely participate.
Kudos!

I hope for a speedball field somewhere. Indoors or Out.
I enjoy a good outdoor match on a large playing area but that is really better suited for people really into the game.

well im just tossing out an idea. sounds like rivet is having an event. the problem is most people dont have paintball equipment. so the idea that im tossing out there would most likely appeal to folks who have guns and do it maybe on a more regular basis. so if rivet is planning to have it at a facility, that would make sense. the facility would most likely provide guns and equipment. but i think one could rent guns and tanks from central ohio paintball. so hell ya laura, i want to see your delta force face!!! The idea for the first initial event was just to do it at splatterpark up by Sunbury so that many of our friends (who don't have their own gear) could use rental services and first-timers don't have to worry about getting lit up by ringers. We only need a 10 person minimum to ensure our own refs and therefore keep the games to our group.
I've played up in Sunbury for quite a while and they've got a good mix of various woodsball and speedball fields. The owner told me they just built a field that resembles a ship deck, so I'm interested to check that one out as well.

when i was 18 i did not really have anywhere to live, so i stayed with my friend and his grandmother in pointdextor . As the norm for pointdextor a crackhead came through with stolen items for sale, happened to be this time it was paintball guns, so of course we bought them. After going and getting co2 filled up and buying balls, we went back there, and proceeded to shoot each other. Not the greatest place to be playing this sport, unless you want the swat team to come over.

All Splatterpark fields are outdoors. They have both large and small wooded fields (about 5 - 8 wooded fields, a corrugated pipe field, a mound field, a fort field, air inflatables speedball field, and now the ship deck field. The owner and staff up there are a good bunch and play a good mix of game styles to keep it fun for everyone. The cost to play would be $35-50 for gun rentals with paint for people who don't have their own gear.
Obviously the larger the crowd the more target, er, fun  so I will be rounding up people from various venues to head out there. I will be posting something later in the week officially when we get a flyer image to put up in forums.

There has been A TON of interest in paintball on this board so I don't think you'll have a hard time getting players. The sooner you can get the information out the better!! Weekends around here are getting booked up fast :)

I would potentially play outside a park, depending on the time and place. I play pistol-only paintball so close a quarters game has a certain appeal.
