Why learn by reading or listening when you can learn by eating instead?
Join Slow Food Columbus and open-air cuisinier Jim Budros as we enjoy five courses under the cafe lights at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens' unique Live-Fire Cooking Theater. Each course of this unique five-course dinner will represent a facet of Slow Food's mission: conviviality, biodiversity, taste education, Slow Food in schools, and food policy. Our hosts, member Budros and chapter leader and founder Colleen Yuhn, will lead a delicious evening of conviviality and good cheer. We promise that the dinner, like the organization, will be even greater than the sum of the parts.
The price of the dinner is $60 for members and $80 for nonmembers. (Did we mention that membership costs $25?) Proceeds benefit Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens' Food Education programming.
