The idea is simple. Get 18 art groups to make 18 holes of miniature golf, add refreshments, invite the public. What you end up with is a unique event that mixes art and fun without all the pretentious attidues. Come join us, have a beer, and play a round.

Dates and Times
March 19-21
Friday 5pm-12am
Saturday 12pm-12am
Sunday 12pm-5pm

South Campus Gateway

Columbus, OH 43201

Price
$8 to play all 18 holes
part of the proceeds going to each group
discounted movie tickets with purchase of a round of golf!

snack and drinks available.

I've been getting pictures of some of the groups designs and I can say for sure this is going to be alot of fun. That CowBrow hole is a secret.... we'll see where Core takes it. The competition is stiff.... and there is an award on the line for best hole...

Over the weekend a great amount of suggestions came in... and we know for sure we will do something again. Most definitely.

It makes me feel really good when I can look across a room at a bunch of silly golf holes and feel like my community is a really great place full of people who care about making the place they live and the people around them worthwhile.

It is an amazing thing to have a group like Primary Colours visit from Indianapolis and stand with their mouths open at how much but the groups involved and the audience attending kick ass.

Every time one of these events pops up, it seems more and more like people are getting to know each other... and the more they know each other... the more good things happen.

I'm proud of my group for being dedicated to keeping up the hard work even in the times that aren't fun... and I look forward to doing even more.

Thanks Adam for yet another fun event that you planned. I agree it is a great thing to see so many functional grous working in tandem to create an event focused on all of them. I thouhgt this was not only fun and interesting, but since we all learned so much about how to make these holes work that we will be way more fun next time.

it would be cool to have a big aholes game during gallery hop or one of the days where they have the short north sales where certain boutiques have holes. i could see some cool stuff coming out of sole classics, paradise garage, etc. as well.

We'll be looking forward to doing the event again in some fashion.... lots of idea poured into the email box over the weekend... and we are doing our best to sort out the options. We may take a minute to do another one so we don't burn it out. There are lots of other good ideas to use and we have some other rad events coming up.... like Art School Throwdown... Treasure Swap III... and Agora!
