Hey, does anyone know what's happening with the old supply store that closed about a year ago at 6th & High. There was a for sale sign up forever, which I think has been taken down. The siding has been stripped off as well in the past week or so.
Did someone purchase the property? Just wondering!!

The Janton Co. building was purchased on April 13, 2011 by 1288 N High LLC. The Auditor's website lists an address of 22 E. Gay Street, Ste 800 for that LLC, which also happens to be the address for Ohio Equities--the realty firm to which the above posted link is directed. The LLC's statutory agent, Richard Day, is also listed at the same address, which suggests that either Ohio Equities owns this property or is managing the LLC for a client.
Either way, I am excited to see it re-purposed for a use more consistent with the neighborhood.
