This reminds me (and this may have been discussed before) but what’s the deal with 789 Denison? Big empty building. Looks like it might have been a school or something similar at one point.
I lived at 779 Dennison next door for a couple years awhile back. At least then they were doing tons of construction on the place… and I think previously to that there were tenants. Aston Place, Hubbard apartment projects get under way in Short North

Another spurt of apartment construction has started in the Short North as crews lay the groundwork for the Aston Place and Hubbard projects. An affiliate of Snyder Barker Investments LLC has cleared a site at West Third and Dennison avenues in Victorian Village as it and investor Schiff Capital Group get set for construction of the 59-unit, $9 million Aston Place apartments in the next couple weeks.

Victorian Village is known throughout Columbus for its well maintained historic architecture, which will make the new Aston Place residential development stand out as it is constructed next year in the heart of the neighborhood. Construction Begins on Aston Row Townhomes in Victorian Village

Construction is scheduled to start this week on the newly-redesigned Aston Row townhomes, which now feature a more contemporary look. The for-sale product will complement a 59-unit apartment building currently under construction at the corner of Third and Dennison Avenues in Victorian Village.
