Dear Animal Friends,
Please pick up the current issue of (614)Magazine. It's on Pets and has some very disturbing content of an abusive nature towards cats. It recommends abusive treatment of cats. Even if meant to be humorous, it isn't. Please get your hands on an issue and see for yourself. I am asking you to let others know, and for you to call and e-mail the magazine to tell them that this is definitely not ok. I also plan to call the businesses which advertised in this issue to ask them to withdraw their advertising contracts with the magazine. Spread the word to your Facebook Friends as well.
Thanks for your support. ZenCat Gallery's key mission is to expand the positive image of cats. So I believe I must speak out as this is a horrible misuse of the media with the assumption that it is ok to treat cats this way. It is not.
