Two of the top threads on this forum are dedicated to this publication right now.
judging from the fact that TOP has tried to slam 614 twice, and then "614Fan" posts new threads about these stories, my guess is that 614Fan is somehow affiliated with The Other Paper.
I think 614fan is someone from ColumbusUnderground.com

I'm starting to suspect that he's not really much of a fan of 614 Magazine.

When I was 18 I bought mailbox stickers and put 614 on the back of my car. Cops pulled me and my friend over at 2am, handcuffed us and searched my entire car because they considered it a gang affiliation.

Dunno. I'm a fan of 216. I used to be a 216 before they changed me to a 440. Then I was a 740 for a few years, and married a 330. I'm still a 440, but I live in the land of 614.

As much as a discussion about journalistic ethics interests me, I have been known to freelance for 614 every once in awhile. So I don't think I could weigh in on the subject in good faith.
I will say though, thanks to the article I now know that :
1. My degree-less ex girlfriend still lives in Columbus. 2. She makes more money than I (mr. media professional) do. :(
