The latest edition of MadLabÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s 3 in 30 is here. These are three 10-minute plays written and produced in 30 days. The theme this time is Abandon. The plays are:

"The Last True Believer", by Greg McGill. Directed by Stephen Woosley. The one person keeping the faith is keeping God from hitting the deity party scene. But Gods just want to have fun.
-with Melissa Bair as God and Brennan Hunter as Father Steven.

"Sacrilege", by Brendan Michna. Directed by Andy Batt. Can a woman abandon her most prized possessionÃ¢â‚¬â€her identityÃ¢â‚¬â€in order to reach a higher level?
-with Jennifer Ntiri as Joan, Bridgette Teresa Kreuz as Evelyn, Heather Fidler as the Annointed and Stephen Woosley as the Annointed.

"Totaled", by Chris Morris. Directed by Scott Tobin. After an accident wrecks his truck and injures his wife, a man is surprised to discover how comprehensive his coverage is. Will he abandon all decency and replace it all?
-with Jason Sudy as Todd Toblerone, Andy Batt as Cleve Land, and Jennifer Ntiri as Rebecca Land.

The shows will be performed on Friday, December 4th and Friday, December 11th at 10:30 pm at MadLab. Tickets are $5. For reservations call 614-221-5418 or send to publicity@madlab.net

We had our first technical rehearsal tonight. It's SUCH different experience actually being on the stage. My breathing could be heard on stage while I was behind the curtains, so it was definitely audible when I cursed back there after dropping a line. Thankfully, I was forgiven since I was the newcomer to the stage.

This is going to be a fun show! I'm constantly amazed at the high quality of work turned out in such a short time. All three plays individually are worth the price of admission.

One of these days perhaps a sneak preview (aka crashing a tech rehearsal) on a Wednesday can be held for those in the industry. Last night's only ran two of the shows but had a lot of great moments.
