House Wine is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Old Worthington Quarter Beer Festival on July 10th, 2010, from 2pm to 6pm, in support of Worthington Organized Off-Leash Friends (WOOF), a not-for-profit group created to raise funds for Worthington's future dog park. This year, the beer event is even bigger and better, with some rare craft brews from some of the region's premier breweries. For 2010, we are bringing you brews from four of Michigan's best craft breweries: Bell's, Founder's, New Holland, and Dark Horse.
The beer lineup will include (subject to change):
Bell's: Oarsman, Bourbon-Barrel Aged Hell Hath No Fury, Hopslam, Oberon, firkin of Porter
Dark Horse: Plead The Fifth, Crooked Tree, Sapient Triple Abbey, ROD
Founder's: Kentucky Breakfast Stout, Dirty Bastard, Cerise, Red's Rye
New Holland: Imperial Hatter, Dragon's Milk, The Poet, Full Circle, firkin of Mad Hatter
The cost of the event is only $20 in advance, with proceeds supporting WOOF. If passes still remain the day of the event, they will cost $25, but buy your passes ahead of time to ensure your admission into the beer festival. This entrance fee will give you 8 tickets for sampling. Additional beer tickets can be purchased for $2 each. Passes for the beer festival can be bought at House Wine's website, through a secure payment option through PayPal (no account required). The purchaser of the passes must be present at the time of arrival to get the tickets as you will pick them up when you arrive the day of the event. Passes and beer tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. The rain date will be Sunday, July 11th, 2-6pm.
The Old Worthington Quarter is located in Old Worthington at the northeast corner of High Street and New England Avenue, where you'll find Graeter's, Caffe Daniela, Jan Allmon Studio Gallery, Elli Nail Spa, The Candle Lab, and House Wine. The beer festival will take place in the parking lot.
Thank you for supporting a good cause and drinking good beer!
