LUNGevity Foundation’s Breathe Deep Columbus 5K Walk and Run is in Memory of Frank Lerner. A Balloon Launch Benefiting the Mary Ann Kirkby Living with Lung Cancer Fund will be located at Ohio State's James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute before the 5K walk and run.
Currently, only 16% of people diagnosed with lung cancer survive five years post-diagnosis, a percentage significantly lower than that for other cancers. And with early detection, there is hope. Breathe Deep Columbus annually hosts the 5K walk and run to raise funds for this hope.
