I am really pumped for this. I'll be working at Tip Top, and sneaking out to watch videos.
Slash... it exists:

I will be stopping by to check this out! This peaked my interest when seeing the flyer before.
Searching on CU is a real issue for me.
I'm never able to find things even I previously posted.
*Shrug*
Mike,
Here's a suggestion i've used and have found things.
Search your topic with columbus underground under google.
I'ts worked for me several times.
example.
windows artists gay street columbus underground
or better yet do what Roland said.
make sure on the search box that you select the radio button for "Search for all terms"
This makes the search results behave as you'd expect.
I'm looking forward to this. Sounds like something I will enjoy.
This should kick ass.. I haven't seen Hugs & Kisses in a while, and I've never seen Jacoti play solo.
Rockmastermike and I stayed for a few rotations of the films. Absolutely gorgeous work! Would have stayed longer, but we're getting too old to sit on the sidewalk for more than an hour.

I was there for about the same amount of time.
great concept. but nothing I was really able to engage with.
i was the guy on the old old motorcycle. did you see me?
We left shortly after you did Daniel.
Very cool to see. Not much to stay around for. I heard it was going to be the entire Gay street shut down, art event, tons of stuff to do.
It was cool, but I was expecting a whole experience.
Very nice shows inside after 11 as well, then some more danceable stuff later in the evening.. A bit of deja vu for me, but in a good way...

Sorry that I didn't! We were dead center on the sidewalk until we left, then we climbed onto Rockmastermike's Vespa and sped off.
it was real cool, cheers to all involved!
Envelope was awesome.

All of the "stuff to do" and "whole experience" was upstairs after 11pm.
I think my favorite show of the evening was Jacoti Sommes's live set.
Jacoti was in the group Ill Atmospherics a few years ago (if any of you recall), and is currently in Hugs and Kisses. His set brought old and new school sound together to create a unique sound of his own. He somehow found a way to make the sound quirky and danceable at the same time.
I also enjoyed whoever played downstairs (Djtal?). Pretty nice down tempo hiphop/old breakbeat thing going on there.
I'm sorry to say I missed Envelope and most of Hugs and Kisses.
I did watch the whole video sequence and really enjoyed it. I spoke to Nathan Ober (one of the organizers) and he told me how they did it..
A soundtrack was created and a set of timecodes with cues and direction were given to each video artist. They then crafted their own films based on the timecodes and soundtrack. I think this helped give the 8 videos a sense of cohesiveness if they were quite different.
I'm looking forward to more Skylab and Shelf events in the future.
It was very cool. Jacotti's set was nice. I'd like to hear more of his material. The Hugs and Kisses performance was funny. Kudos to all involved!

The white sheets filling up the windows in Nathan Ober's apartment don't look like much, but they'll do.
"We've been going to the thrift store and clearing them out of every white sheet that they have," said Ober, 28. "But from the outside, you really can't tell what it is."
Most people walking by his apartment tonight won't know, either. But the graphic designer and video artist hopes they'll at least stop and take a look.
His apartment building at 57 E. Gay St. -- which holds the art galleries and occasional concert venues Skylab and the Shelf -- will turn into a walk-by movie theater at 9 tonight, with an installation Ober calls "28 Windows."
