20TH ANNIVERSARY AIDSWALK COMMEMORATES 30 YEARS SINCE THE FIRST AIDS DIAGNOSIS<
Honorary co-chairs, Susan Koletar, MD and Michael Para, MD will welcome hundreds of central Ohio participants to the 20 AIDSWalk. AIDSWalk is the largest annual HIV/AIDS fundraising and awareness event in Franklin County. Produced by AIDS Resource Center Ohio (formerly Columbus AIDS Task Force) with lead sponsorship by The Ohio State University Medical Center, AIDSWalk will take place Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Bicentennial Park. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. for the 5K run, 5K walk and 1 mile stroll which will step off at 9:00 am. Every year AIDSWalk involves community members to raise critically-needed funds to support Central Ohio HIV/AIDS service organizations.




Launched in August 2010, TheMetropreneur.com is a local online resource devoted to small business development and entrepreneurship. Its aim is to tell the stories of Central Ohio's business community, foster regional economic development and assist entrepreneurs with its resource-heavy focus.
