In 2011, WELD embarked on an exciting journey with renewed focus to bring change to the landscape of leadership in Central Ohio and with it the financial prosperity to our professional community that comes when Boards of Directors and senior leadership teams include more women in their ranks.
With the release of the Central Ohio Leadership Census (COLC) at the 2011 Keynote, we provided Central Ohio with a scorecard to see where we are and what areas we must focus on to achieve this goal. Join us at the 2012 Keynote for the release of the first update to the COLC numbers, including the presenting of awards to two central Ohio companies doing their part to ensure women are advancing to these key leadership positions.
We're excited to host our 2012 Keynote Speaker, Patricia Sellers of FORTUNE magazine, to shed light on what we can do as individuals and a community to support this effort. She is, after all, the woman who collects the ultimate women in business scorecard: FORTUNE magazine's "Most Powerful Women in Business" list.
