Ahh late June... time for the annual Comfest debate to ensue! Just like streetcars and bicycles it is one of the enduring topics that will never....ever...die. As someone who lived on Hubbard and Park for 6 years my experience is that Comfest is something you need to plan for and embrace. Get all your supplies for the week, stock up the fridge and get a bunch of ice. Park your car for 4 days and don't plan on moving it one inch all weekend. If you have a yard like I was lucky enough to have make some room for your friends to park, invite them over and enjoy one of the best weekends in any city in the country. You can walk to get a fishboat, go back to home base and pee and get some water. It is a perk to live in the SN during Comfest, not a curse.
