Earlier today I had a conversation with my friend Scott, who sits on the Pride committee which puts together the annual popular event for the town. Due to coincidences in calendar semantics, this year's "main event" will be relatively early during the month of June - the 17th and 18th, if memory serves me correctly. As is true with any large event, the sooner things can be 'confirmed' the better.
He recently told me a main performer scheduled to appear at this year's festival : country / western singer Chely Wright ~ . Ms. Wright came out of the closet in 2010 and has 7 albums - and 15 'charted singles' - under her belt thus far. Amazing!
I imagine as things get closer additional performances, etc. shall be announced as well.
