2010 Spring C Note Art Show Call for Entry OPEN NOW!!!!!

Hello all I wanted to drop a friendly notice that the 2010 Spring edition of the C Note Art Show is now open for entry. The website has been revamped and will see some updates over the next week or so to make it all jive, but functionally submissions and voting are open for business. You may notice that the main headder shows an old date and that is one of the fixes that will be implemented soon.

You will find for this event all info reguarding the submissions, drop off, event specifics, and puick up dates and times listed. A new addition is a short but hopefully helpfull FAQ section that should answer the most trivial of the problems that artists and voters face with the website.

The event itself has moved to the first week of July to allow proper submission times and promotion of the event. I look forward to all of the submissions and those lucky enough to purchase the works in the show.

More to come, but for now lets get those submissions going and the votes adding up.

There were a few issues with recieving confirmation emails yesterday that shoukld be up and fixed if anyone tried to sign up. Also all of the graphic updates took place so the site should be more clear now.

I look forward to the new submissions that we will see this spring and the energy that will come along with them.

Probably a good move, since it was scheduled for Easter;)

Let me know what you need help with. I know chris said he'd spackle the gallery sometime in the next few weeks. I can help paint, with intake, hanging, whatever.

Yes, ditto for help if needed. Would love to return art show favors! I offer good moral support and pizza shuttling and I think I did pretty good painting! The art show alpha-female may disagree though :P

Just a note that submissions have closed now for the event and there is over 300 pieces of great work available to review and vote for online at http://www.cnoteartshow.com . We are still in need of volunteers for this Thursday to help with cleanup and painting of the venue. There are aslo several slots open to assist with front dor traffic on Saturday/Sunday the 10-11th.

If you would like to offer your time as a volunteer please send a quick email to cnoteartshow@gmail.com and wich of the days mentioned you may be available and c note staff will respond quickly to confirm a date and time for your shift. Anyone interested in helping will recieve 1 free ticket to the Preview event on the 9th worth $15 and bragging rights on the pieces you buy that night before anyone else can make the purchase.

Thanks in Advance for all fo the support this event has recieved from the CU readership/community. We all look forward to another great show and hopefully some well spent income tax return checks.

@von man if you had to only choose 1 piece then your right that could be a very hard task with the talent in the selections this time around. I just hope that you can go home just as happy this time since you really made out last C Note.

Quite a bit of decent work hanging in those halls. I've been liking running into people saying they are coming. I've got to get the ol' studio cleaned up so people can visit me there too.
